Vision
1) To further the Gospel of Jesus ChristOver the past several decades, institutional Christianity has created a marketing machine that is both cheesy, and uncreative. It is typical of Christian marketing schemes to represent Christians in an unflatteringly “cheesy” light. Today’s teenage culture makes strong efforts to avoid this very kind of “cheesiness.” If they are avoiding “cheesy” and “fake,” then they are more likely to avoid Christianity. If we can help to promote the idea that Christianity doesn’t require us to forsake our creative self, but rather to embrace it, we’re taking a positive step towards accomplishing our goal of furthering the gospel.
2) To challenge churches and Christian organizations to move beyond copy cat mentality.
At Shepherd Boy we believe creativity means more than printing your church’s name on a "survivor" logo. We understand the notoriety of such a thing, however we believe we can do a better job of communicating with and appealing to students. We believe that mimicking someone else’s idea only conveys that Christians can’t come up with anything of our own; that we lack originality. We know that’s not true, and we want to prove it.
3) To create an amazing customer experience
We believe your experience with us shouldn’t just be related to the final product, but that the entire process of meeting your design needs should be one in which you are encouraged, understood, and most importantly, engaged. We’ve designed a web based service that allows you to view both your account status and your artwork at your convenience in an online format. Beyond that, we are committed to meeting your needs through prompt and deliberate communication.
